You're not qualified to receive a Federal Pell Grant When you are incarcerated in a federal or condition penal establishment or are subject matter to an involuntary civil dedication upon completion of a duration of incarceration for any forcible or nonforcible sexual offense. A Federal Pell Grant, as opposed to a financial loan, does not have to ge
